Ensuring that work is performed in accordance with all safety and quality guidelines and expectations. \nThis is a safety-sensitive position.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nSafety First – Put safety first and production second. Always.\nPerform work on the tower top, looking after all aspects of work while at the tower top, ensuring that a safe, quality installation has been performed, including rigging, hoisting, landing, fastening, load hopping, etc.\nInstallation of up-top equipment including masts, clamping, bracing, supports, antennas, RRUs, cabling, bolting, assist in shooting proper azimuth within tolerances, labeling, picture-taking, and documentation. Assisting in gathering all closeout documents is an absolute must.\nAt the instruction of the Tower Lead, perform coax, fiber, lines, and hybrid cable installation, connector installation, sweep and testing assisting, weatherproofing, color-coding, labeling, etc. connect coax feedlines and jumpers per piping diagrams, and support and fasten adequately for a quality, lasting installation.\nDo grounding, terminations, fastening, proper bolting and antioxidant use, support of leads, cadwelding as required, etc.\nAssist with the overall job groundwork, including all tasks required to build and install a site per customer specs, maintain a safe work environment, daily use and completion of JSA forms, assist with overall crew work, maintenance of vehicles and equipment, etc.\nMust continue to work towards training and certifications for tower-related work.\nAssist in the installation of all tower-related aspects of the wireless cell site.\nEnsure the highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld.\nAssist in the assembly of the monopole, self-support guyed towers and rooftops.\nAssist in the transmission line and installation.\nResponsible for tool inventory and upkeep daily on the job site.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nPhysical Demands\nThis job operates in a field environment. Must be in good physical condition with the ability to routinely bend, squat, climb, kneel, push, pull, lift 50lbs or more, lift in awkward positions, stand, and twist for extended periods.\nMust be able to meet the physical requirements set forth in ANSI Z359 for fall protection gear.\nMust be able to climb and perform work at various heights, up to 500 feet, for long periods of time.\nMust be able to pull his/her own body weight plus equipment weight up a vertical tower repeatedly for long periods of time.\nMust be willing to travel out of market/state for up to several months at a time (90%).\nMay be required to work long and unpredictable hours.\nMust be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing.\nMust be willing to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind.\nMust possess a valid driver's license and be able to drive company vehicles. A commercial driver's license (CDL) is a plus.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nTechnical Skills:\nMust be able to work in a team environment and be a valued member of the crew and the company.\nSuccessful completion of safety in rigging coursework.\nAbility to operate aerial lifts, man lifts, and aerial platform equipment.\nSuccessful completion of Industrial First Aid and Rescue Training. and Competent Climber course.\nMust be able to read and understand drawings, piping diagrams, job specifications, mounting specs, testing procedures, etc.\nSoft Skills:\nMust be able to communicate in person, by phone, and by email with team members and clients. \nMust work in a team environment, participating in tailboards throughout the day.\nMust be able to read, comprehend, and carry out instructions.\nMust be able to work on a team and independently as required.\n\nSupervisory Requirements\nNone.\n\nPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time position.\nWorkdays and hours are typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some overtime requirements.\n\nTravel \nWeekly travel is required for this position.
