Assist customers in solving problems related to the application of Onto Innovation steppers to their manufacturing processes.\nSupports the Applications Lab in Taiwan and HQ for live demo with customer and provides execution support when required.\nInterface with external customers and internal departments to best determine equipment specifications.\nPerform experiments and/or analytical investigations within guidelines supplied by senior engineering in HQ\nReport on results of experiments, tests and studies, provide preliminary interpretation.\nAid in design and development of new equipment or redesign of existing systems to meet customer requirements.\nCommunicate with external sales personnel and internal departments to determine customer needs.\nApply good problem solve skills to support customer process related issues and applications issues.\nWill be required to work with Marketing to generate data for conferences and magazine articles\nDemonstrate systems to customers and provide customer training to ensure systems are being used effectively.\nUp to 80% travel is required with extended stays at customer locations\nQualifications\nEducation & Experience:\nMaster or Associates degree preferred, will consider experience versus degree\n>5 years process engineering experience with wafer or panel manufacturing facility\n>3 years hands on experience with inspection tool (DFLY or FFLY will be a plus) and good knowledge of inspection & metrology\nSupport inspection demo lab experience\nGood English written and verbal communication skills essential\nAbility to work with limited direction and take initiative to solve problems\nCan function under pressure\nCan work with team in the field without any problem\nOnto Innovation Inc. offers competitive salaries and a generous benefits package, including health/dental/vision/life/disability, PTO, 401K plan with employer match, and an Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) along with health & wellness initiatives.
