The applications engineer will work closely with customers to provide high quality Applications support including recipe creation for the process control, leading customers through troubleshooting-to-problemresolution, on-site product installations and support, and training customer and other employees, etc. The job will also need the candidate to communication with headquarters to align on customized solutions and business goals.\nRecipe creation of Dragonfly system\nCustomer support on site or by on the phone\nCoordinate and collaborate cross-departmentally to deliver the best Apps solutions.\nBecome a Subject Matter Expert on Onto Innovation’s products\nSupport customer applications development activities that require full understanding of the system set-up, inspection of customer’s product, confirmation of optimal and accurate results, and presentation of results\nWork closely with internal and external customers to understand their requirements and challenges and ensure that Onto Innovation's systems are configured and utilized optimally\nProvide support and applications training to customers as well as various internal functional groups to ensure systems are being used effectively\nInterface with technical support, head quarter engineering on procedures and equipment enhancement\nPotential candidate is required to be based in Singapore and may require to travel overseas support.\nQualifications\nB.S. Degree, M.S. degree, or above in science, engineering, optics, physics or equivalent experiences is required\n2~3 years or more of prior experiences with optics, mechanical, electrical systems, or semiconductor equipment are preferred\nSemiconductor wafer Fab and wafer inspection experiences preferred\nProficiency in MS office tools\nStrong analytical stills. Ability to gather and analyse data and then create clear reports and presentations\nExcellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)\nEffective time management: Adherence to schedule and prioritization.\nOwnership. Minimal supervision required, stays on top assignments.\nStrong drive for skills continuous improvement\nExcellent team player, be able to team up with all departments and/or individuals.
