We're looking for an experienced and customer-focused Information Systems Analyst to join our ICT team.\nThis is a hybrid role, combining home and office working, where you'll provide application support, investigate and resolve system issues, and work closely with colleagues and suppliers to ensure our business systems remain reliable, effective and meet organisational needs. You'll also support system enhancements and contribute to the continuous improvement of our digital services.\nExperience of using and supporting the Aareon ActiveH housing management system is essential for this role, alongside strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.\nKey Responsibilities\nApplication Support\nProvide 1st and 2nd line support / maintenance for all supported applications\nSystems Maintenance and Service Development\nProvide support to the Senior Information Analyst role in the development and delivery of new functionality and upgrades to existing solutions.\nWork to constantly develop and improve the effectiveness and quality of service provided to other business areas and continually build on operational relationships and operational understand.\nFace to Face Support\nDeliver face to face and remote technical support to colleagues\nTelephone Support\nDealing with Service Desk telephone calls from colleagues and business partners in a professional manner. \nExternal Support Liaison\nLiaise effectively and professionally with external support teams in the restoration, improvement and implementation of business system applications.\nPriorities\nBe aware of ICT priorities and maintain knowledge of service delivery standards and adhere to established guidance on delivery of service.\nSkills/Experience\nEssential\nAn understanding of business applications.\nDemonstrable experience of working with the Aareon ActiveH housing management system.\nBe able to communicate ideas and concepts in a clear and logical manner.\nExcellent problem solving skills, and able to collate evidence quickly to diagnose problems and implement solutions.\nDemonstrate a desire to learn and succeed within a support environment across a large number of applications.\nUnderstanding of the environment and practises of the housing sector.\nAble to work effectively in a team to deliver against agreed targets.\nAbility to develop positive relationships with colleagues and customers.\nDesirable\nUnderstanding of the Open Accounts Financial Accounting Suite.\nExperience of supporting and maintaining a SQL database.\nQualifications\nEssential\nITIL Foundation.\nAbout Us\nAbout Onward\nOnward Homes is one of the largest registered providers of social housing in the Northwest, with 35,000 properties across the region.\nWe believe that everyone deserves a place to call their own, which is why we’re committed to building 500 new homes each year.
