The successful candidates will work 5 hours per week, covering either Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM or Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Extra hours will also be available to cover other team members, so a flexible approach to working hours is essential.\nThe purpose of the role is to provide a high quality customer service experience for patients, clients, service providers, external suppliers and other Onward colleagues. Working in a customer focussed way, to assist the Centre Delivery Co-ordinator and Centre Manager in achieving the overall aims of the May Logan Healthy Living Centre.\nResponsibilities:\nCulture and service excellence\n\nWork to deliver the eight Onward characteristics at all times and provide excellent customer service to all visitors and colleagues. Provide telephony services; general admin; customer advice and refer inquiries to colleagues as appropriate.\nData Collection, Reporting and Monitoring\nWork to collect the information relating to the use of the centre, through patient numbers, group members and overall centre registrations. Inputting these in to the centrally held monthly and annual figures.\nSupport the Day-to-Day Delivery of the Centre\nAssist the Centre Delivery Co-ordinator in ensuring health and safety compliance is adhered to at all times. Support practices and systems that enable the May Logan Centre to be safe, secure and welcoming places for people to work and visit. Assist with regular fire/evacuation drills as necessary and raising repairs where required.\nCommunication and Confidentiality\nDevelop and use a range of effective written and verbal skills, conveying information in a clear and tailored way. Ensuring requests for information or advice are met confidentiality, understanding and sensitivity.\nProvide Information, Promotion and Engagement\nRemain up to date with local services, MLC projects and activities within the centre. Using this knowledge work to engage service users and act as a referral point, allowing service users to access the most appropriate further services.\nWork to continually improve and adapt service provision\nWorking as part of the wider May Logan Centre and Onward team, participate in service development planning, activity trialling and feedback programmes, working to improve the overall delivery for the MLC Service.\nSkills/Experience\nEssential:\nAbility to provide excellent customer service skills\nAbility to adapt and tailor approach, language and behaviour to suit the needs of different service users.\nIT Literate (e.g. Microsoft Office, CRM Systems and Teams)\nDemonstrate an ability to monitor, evaluate and report on services.\nRelevant experience of working in an environment promoting healthy living.\nAwareness of Safeguarding issues.\nExcellent Communication Skills.\nPrevious experience of delivering FM Services and Building maintenance services.\nSatisfactory Basic Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) reference.\nQualifications\nEssential:\nEducated to GCSE standard or equivalent qualification/ experience.\nAbout Us\nAbout Onward\nOnward Homes is one of the largest registered providers of social housing in the Northwest, with 35,000 properties across the region.\nWe believe that everyone deserves a place to call their own, which is why we’re committed to building 500 new homes each year.
