particularly well-suited for engineers who enjoy ownership, rapid iteration, clean code, and building high-quality mobile experiences.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain production mobile applications using React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.\nBuild new mobile screens and improve existing interfaces across iOS and Android.\nTranslate high-fidelity designs into pixel-accurate, responsive, and visually polished mobile experiences.\nDevelop interactive mobile features involving conversational interfaces, content presentation, and user interactions.\nEnsure smooth animations, transitions, navigation, and native-feeling interactions.\nBuild reusable, maintainable React Native components using modern React patterns and hooks.\nIntegrate frontend features with backend APIs and collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts.\nTroubleshoot and resolve UI issues, performance bottlenecks, and platform-specific inconsistencies.\nWrite clean, well-tested, maintainable, and documented code.\nDeliver small, reviewable commits and participate in code reviews.\nOccasionally contribute to React-based web interfaces.\nCollaborate with engineering stakeholders to clarify requirements, prioritize work, and deliver improvements.\nContribute to continuous improvements in mobile UI quality, performance, and maintainability.\nRequirements:\n3+ years of professional experience building and shipping production React Native applications.\nStrong hands-on experience with React Native.\nStrong proficiency in TypeScript and modern React development.\nExperience working with Expo or comparable React Native development workflows.\nStrong understanding of React hooks, component architecture, and modern React patterns.\nProven ability to implement high-fidelity UI designs.\nStrong attention to mobile UI/UX details, including spacing, typography, animations, and native interactions.\nExperience integrating mobile applications with backend APIs.\nExperience maintaining and enhancing existing production applications.\nStrong understanding of testing and code quality practices.\nMust Have:\n3+ years of production React Native development experience.\nStrong TypeScript proficiency.\nStrong experience with modern React, including hooks and component-based architecture.\nPractical experience with Expo, or strong React Native experience with the ability to work effectively in an Expo codebase.\nExperience delivering production mobile applications for iOS and Android.\nStrong ability to translate high-fidelity designs into polished mobile interfaces.\nExcellent attention to:\nUI consistency and visual accuracy.\nTypography and spacing.\nAnimations and transitions.\nResponsive mobile layouts.\nNative-feeling user communication and reliable availability during agreed working hours.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with React 19.\nAdvanced experience with Expo and its ecosystem.\nExperience developing map-based or location-aware mobile interfaces.\nExperience with Mapbox or react-native-maps.\nExperience building conversational interfaces, chat applications, or real-time messaging experiences.\nExperience
