In this role, you will actively contribute to the design, development, implementation, and support of custom software solutions across the Q2 platform. You will work across front-end, back-end, and data-centric components, integrating with internal systems, external services, and intelligent automation solutions.\n\nThis role offers the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise in modern software engineering, data pipelines, and AI/ML-enabled solutions, while collaborating closely with peers in a fast-paced, Agile environment to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDesign, implement, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity across the Q2 platform.\nDevelop and maintain both backend services and data processing workflows, including ETL pipelines.\nDeliver reliable solutions in live production systems, working both independently and collaboratively.\nSupport and maintain custom features, including debugging, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis, with occasional on-call availability.\nApply strong debugging skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production and data issues.\nEnsure adherence to security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies.\nContribute to data analysis and model-driven features, including exploratory data analysis (EDA) and ML integration.\nCollaborate on AI-powered and agent-based solutions, leveraging modern LLM frameworks and tooling.\nAssist and mentor teammates by sharing best practices, conducting code reviews, and providing technical guidance.\n\nExperience And Knowledge\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.\nStrong proficiency in Python and SQL.\nSolid experience in web/tool development and backend service development.\nStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills\nFamiliarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI workflows.\nUnderstanding of the full software development life cycle (SDLC) and service-oriented/microservices architectures.\nExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.\nStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nOccasional availability for on-call/emergency support; ability to work flexible\n\nAdditional / Preferred Skills\n\nETL fundamentals and experience building or maintaining data pipelines.\nHands-on experience with Python ML and data libraries, including:\nNumPy\nPandas\nScikit-learn\nXGBoost\nExperience performing Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to derive insights and support data-driven features.\nWorking knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and model lifecycle integration.\nExposure to or experience with Agentic AI architectures, MCP tools, and AI orchestration frameworks.\nUnderstanding of secure, scalable, and production-ready AI/ML system design.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\n Design, implement, integrate, and test software solutions of moderate complexity.\n Deliver solutions in live production systems individually and collaboratively.\n Support and maintain custom features, with occasional on-call availability.\n Ensure adherence to security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies.\n Assist and mentor teammates, providing technical guidance and best practices.
