You will implement individualized treatment plans supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and engage with families to support their understanding and involvement in the therapy process. At Opal, we emphasize professional development, providing you with the tools and training necessary to excel in your role while contributing to our mission of promoting effective and ethical behavior analysis.\nResponsibilities\nImplement treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA\nCollect data on client behaviors and progress\nEngage clients in therapeutic activities to promote learning and development\nCommunicate with families about their child's progress and strategies\nAssist in developing educational materials and resources\nParticipate in team meetings and training sessions\nAdhere to ethical guidelines and standards of behavior analysis\nRequirements\nActive RBT certification - OR - certificate of completion of a 40-hour RBT training course recognized and accepted by the BACB - OR - work experience as a BT in the field of ABA\nHigh school diploma or GED\n1+ year experience working with children or individuals with special needs\nAbility to obtain CPR certification before your employment start date\nAbility to pass a criminal background check\nExperience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills\nDemonstrated commitment to ethical standards in behavior analysis\nAbility to work collaboratively as part of a treatment team\nDesire for ongoing professional development and training\nFlexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment\nPhysical ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs and sit/stand/squat throughout the day\nComfortable working fully on-site in a center-based setting\nBenefits\nCompetitive, equitable pay based on experience working in the field of ABA, related fields, and education\nPaid initial and ongoing training\nEmployee Rewards Program- earn reward points for being awesome and spend them like real cash!\nRBT CEU requirements- stay compliant with the up coming BACB CEU requirements at no cost to you as part of your employment.\nIn-person, center-based supervision\nAll session supplies provided- no out-of-pocket costs, and we’re happy to order client-specific tools as needed.\nTuition discounts available- take advantage of our university partnerships with Northeastern, Capella, Ball State, Purdue Global, and more!\nAccess to our Student Analyst Program- offering mentorship, clinical development, and potential opportunities to accrue supervised fieldwork hours toward behavior analyst certification.
