The position is based in Beijing, China.\nThe selected candidate is responsible for customer’s on-site training, commissioning and integration, as well as internal support and testing. Supporting OPAL-RT’s distributors in the Asia-pacific region, helping on upcoming deliveries and developing internal support tools is also part of the job. The candidate has technical abilities and a focus on customer satisfaction. They possess excellent problem-solving skills and solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Learn multiple aspects of the HIL simulation and its application allowing you to be in close contact with various industries such as power electronics, automotive, aeronautics, electrical drives and more.\nPlease note that avalid passport and being eligible to international travel are required for this role.\nMain tasks\nDeliver training sessions both internally to team members and externally to clients on hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and simulation technologies.\nHandling customer requests from the support portal \nAssisting client to adapt models and perform HIL test on site (up to 20% of work time) \nSupport the development and continuous improvement of training materials and programs related to power systems, control systems, and real-time simulation\nWrite technical reports, knowledge base and application notes, etc. \nParticipate in marketing events and technical seminars \nParticipate in overseas product roll-outs \nPerform product demonstrations. \nRequirements:\nEducation :Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics or mechanical engineering; \nExperience : 0 to 2 years in a related field; \nTechnical knowledge : MATLAB/Simulink and/or Simpowersystem (SPS software); Troubleshooting. \nBasic knowledge of these tools (asset) : NI Toolchains, Linux operating systems, FPGA and VHDL programming, Industrial and communication protocols (i.e. CAN, Modbus, SPI, Aurora); \nSignificant assets : Hardware-in-the-loop tools (RT-LAB, NI-Veristand, HYPERSIM, dSPACE, Speedgoat, Typhoon, or RTDS), Industrial HIL testing experience for a full electric vehicle, Simulation of power electronic converters, and Usage of Xilinx System Generator;
