You'll work directly with security and engineering teams at Fortune 500s and startups alike, understand their messy reality, and determine our position as a leader in IAM. We're looking to bring on new teammates who will both add to and grow with what we're building\nYour Responsibilities:\nOwn product strategy from insight to execution. Own what we build and where we expand, work directly with customers to validate direction, partner with engineering on technical strategy, and ensure our roadmap positions us to win in IAM.\n\nArchitect our platform to unify human and non-human identity governance across hybrid environments by making sense of on-prem AD, cloud IAM, SaaS apps, and AI agents.\n\nLead our evolution from fast and flexible to enterprise-grade at scale without losing what developers love about us.\n\nDrive category creation and position Opal as the authorization intelligence layer, not just another point solution in a crowded IAM landscape.\n\nDefine the future for Opal and for Identity\n\nOur Ideal Candidate Loves to:\nThink strategically: you can look at market dynamics, customer feedback, and technical constraints to determine the right direction forward.\n\nBuild platforms, not just features: you understand API strategy, developer experience, and how to create extensible systems that others build on.\n\nThrive in undefined spaces: you get energized by ambiguous problems where there's no playbook.
