The successful candidate will provide accurate and timely financial insights to support business decisions, improve financial performance, and ensure strong financial governance.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nFinancial Management & Reporting:\n\nPrepare financial reports and submissions required by the Group Finance function.\nEnsure the integrity and accuracy of financial records and accounting information.\nPrepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and financial reports.\nAnalyse financial performance, variances, trends, and key financial indicators and provide actionable insights to management.\nManage the day-to-day financial operations of the business.\n\nBudgeting & Financial Planning:\n\nTrack actual performance against budget and investigate significant variances.\nProvide financial modelling and scenario analysis to support business and investment decisions.\nCoordinate the annual budgeting and financial planning process.\nPartner with business leaders to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.\nDevelop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.\n\nCash Flow & Working Capital Management:\n\nDrive effective receivables management and support timely collection of outstanding revenue.\nEnsure appropriate controls around payments, expenses, and cash management.\nMonitor cash flow, liquidity, receivables, payables, and working capital.\nPrepare regular cash flow forecasts and highlight potential funding or liquidity requirements.\n\nFinancial Controls & Compliance:\n\nEnsure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements, and Group policies.\nCoordinate tax filings, statutory returns, audits, and other regulatory financial obligations.\nSupport internal and external audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.\nEstablish, maintain, and strengthen financial controls and processes.\nIdentify financial risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.\n\nBusiness Partnering:\n\nEvaluate the financial implications of new products, partnerships, pricing models, and strategic initiatives.\nTranslate financial information into clear business insights for non-finance stakeholders.\nWork closely with the CEO/Business Head, Operations, Commercial, Technology, and other functional leaders to provide financial guidance.\nSupport business cases and investment decisions with robust financial analysis.\n\nProcess Improvement & Systems:\n\nEnsure appropriate documentation and maintenance of financial records.\nLeverage accounting/ERP systems and technology to improve financial reporting and automation.\nReview and improve finance processes, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and control.\nSupport the implementation of new finance systems, controls, and reporting tools as required.\n\nKey Performance Indicators\n\nSuccess in this role will be measured by:\n\nBudget adherence and quality of financial forecasting.\nAccuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.\nQuality and relevance of financial insights provided to management.\nImproved efficiency and automation of finance processes.Effective support for business growth and profitability.\nTimely completion of audits and statutory obligations.\nImproved cash flow and working capital management.\nEffective financial controls and compliance.\n\nRequirements\n\n5–7 years of relevant post-qualification/cognate experience in finance and accounting.\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.\nACA qualification is mandatory.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills.\nExperience working with accounting/ERP systems and financial reporting tools.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions.\nAbility to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.\nExcellent attention to detail and a high level of numerical accuracy.\nProven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial controls.\nStrong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and applicable regulatory requirements.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills.\n\nAdded Advantage:\n\nExperience working within a group/holding company structure.\nExperience with financial systems implementation, automation, or process transformation.\nStrong understanding of technology-enabled business models and commercial finance.\nPrevious experience in EdTech, Technology, SaaS, Digital Services, FinTech, Media, Education, or other technology-driven businesses.\nExposure to subscription, digital product,
