for providing technical engineering support for the data centre's mechanical infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical cooling systems and maintain data centre uptime.\n\nResponsibilities\nMonitor and review the performance of chillers, cooling towers, pumps, CRAH/CRAC units, AHUs, ventilation systems, and associated piping.\nAssess cooling capacity, system redundancy, equipment efficiency, and operational risks.\nIdentify mechanical system weaknesses and recommend reliability improvements.\nDevelop and review preventive maintenance plans for mechanical equipment.\nCoordinate maintenance activities with operations teams, contractors, and OEMs.\nReview mechanical drawings, equipment specifications, and technical submissions.\nDevelop and review Method of Procedure (MOP), Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), and Emergency Operating Procedure (EOP).\nSupport troubleshooting, commissioning, integrated systems testing, and mechanical infrastructure upgrades.\nProvide technical support during cooling failures, equipment trips, and abnormal operating conditions.\nInvestigate equipment failures, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.\nSupport safe system recovery and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).\nAssess the impact of mechanical failures on critical IT loads and cooling redundancy.\nEnsure mechanical activities comply with safety requirements, company standards, and approved procedures.\nSupport risk assessments, audits, and compliance activities.\nMaintain accurate mechanical drawings, asset registers, maintenance records, and technical documentation.\nSupport the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of new mechanical systems.\nCoordinate with project teams, contractors, OEMs, Electrical Engineering, BMS, CPOS and Operations team.\nProvide technical guidance to engineers and chargeman.\nSupport initiatives to improve cooling reliability, energy efficiency, and operational performance.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent recognized qualification.\nMinimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in data center, critical facilities, or mechanical engineering.\nStrong knowledge of HVAC systems, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, compressors, and CRAH/CRAC units.\nUnderstanding of data center cooling architecture, redundancy, and critical load requirements.\nExperience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and system upgrades.\nExperience preparing MOP, SOP, EOP, risk assessments, and technical reports.\nGood analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork
