As a contemporary pub and dining room, we're all about fresh, seasonal cooking, everything is made from scratch and we’re proud to work with some of the finest suppliers in the UK to deliver bold, delicious, and thoughtful dishes.\nWe’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves being in the kitchen, takes real pride in the food they send out, and knows how to bring the best out of the people around them.\nWorking closely with the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef, you’ll play an important part in the day-to-day running of the kitchen; leading busy services, maintaining standards, developing the brigade and helping create a kitchen that is organised, positive and consistently delivers.\nThe Role\nAs Sous Chef, you’ll be a key presence in the kitchen. You’ll lead from the front, staying close to the food and the team while helping ensure every service runs smoothly.\nYou’ll be responsible for:\nLeading sections and supporting the pass during busy services.\n\nDelivering consistently high standards of food, presentation and execution.\n\nSupporting, coaching and developing junior chefs.\n\nKeeping the brigade aligned on service, menus and events.\n\nCreating a positive, professional and collaborative kitchen environment.\n\nWorking closely with the front-of-house team to deliver a great overall guest experience.\n\nTaking additional ownership when senior kitchen leaders are away.\n\nHelping manage stock, deliveries, portion control and waste.\n\nSupporting food cost management and understanding the commercial side of the kitchen.\n\nContributing ideas to menu development, dish costing and kitchen improvements.\n\nMaintaining excellent food hygiene, allergen, Health & Safety and cleaning standards.\n\nAbout You\nWe’re looking for someone who combines strong cooking skills with the confidence to lead others.\nYou’ll be:\nAn experienced chef who is comfortable taking responsibility during service.\n\nPassionate about quality ingredients and consistently great food.\n\nCalm, organised and solutions-focused when things get busy.\n\nA supportive leader who enjoys helping other chefs develop.\n\nCommercially aware,
