This key role provides software development expertise for the delivery and execution of OPENLANE Remarketing Ltd Microsoft BC/NAV activities. In this role, you will work with experts in a variety of fields and other BC/NAV software developers in building digital automotive remarketing products.\nActivities include validating technical requirements, scoping, planning and designing to ensure suitable solutions.\nThe ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with automobile remarketing, Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, cloud computing, as well as proven experience as a software developer\nRequirements\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nBe the Senior Developer responsible for the smooth running of BC/NAV systems and devs\nFull lifecycle application development\nDesigning, coding and debugging applications in Business Central and/or Dynamics NAV\nUphold use of best practise design & code patterns\nCode reviews\nCoach and mentor junior team members\nInvestigate, analyse and document reported defects\nPerform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects\nWork closely with the business\nTranslate business requirements into working systems \nCreate, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses\nCreate and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates\nEvaluate, identify and select appropriate new technologies for implementation\nMust haves:\n2+ years BC/NAV development experience in a commercial environment\n2+ years GIT experience\nExcellent C/Side or AL skills \nExcellent understanding of core BC/NAV modules\nSystems integration experience via RESTful and/or SOAP services\nExcellent communication skills and a willingness to speak with the business\nDesirable skills:\nCloud Technologies (Azure and/or AWS)\nCI/CD pipeline\nPowerShell\nAzure DevOps\nSalesforce\n.NET\nNAV/BC performance tuning\nExperience of using verticals such as Jet Analytics\nBest practice code & architectural patterns\nCommercial experience within the motor industry\nBenefits\nPAY & BENEFITS\nAt OPENLANE Europe, pay is determined based on role impact, experience, skills and internal fairness.\nIn addition to the base salary, our package includes:\nComprehensive benefits package depending on the country of employment \n25 days holiday + bank holidays\nOnly roles that can be performed from an alternative work location are eligible for occasional remote work.
