Ability to select storage strategies for latency, durability, and cost trade-offs.\nProgramming and Scripting Mastery: Hands-on expertise with Go or Rust for compiled microservices and Python for orchestration, cron automation, and glue code. Strong grounding in functional programming and immutability patterns used for event-driven, idempotent systems.\nBenchmarking and Performance Optimization: Design benchmarking frameworks using Locust, k6 or JMeter to simulate concurrent load. Analyze heap and memory dumps; use profilers to optimize GC, I/O, and CPU utilization.\nSoftware Design Patterns and Principles: Build systems that are resilient, observable, and self-scaling.\nTesting and Validation Frameworks: Establish unit, integration, and black-box test frameworks with automated validation of asynchronous flows, schema conformance, and payload correctness.\nVersioning and Contract Management: Define strategies for API evolution, backward compatibility, and schema versioning for 50 MB+ payloads.
