You’ll help advertisers reach high-intent audiences, improve campaign performance, and develop long-term commercial partnerships that support their business goals.\nYou will work closely with Account Managers and cross-functional partners to ensure successful advertiser outcomes after the sale, while maintaining primary ownership of revenue growth, commercial strategy, and Financial Services vertical expertise.\nIn this role, you will:\nProspect, qualify, and close new advertising opportunities across the Financial Services vertical.\n\nOwn and achieve a defined revenue target across an assigned portfolio of financial services advertisers.\n\nBuild relationships with senior advertising, marketing, digital acquisition, product, and business leaders.\n\nDevelop account plans that connect advertiser goals-such as account openings, credit card applications, insurance quotes, qualified leads, app adoption, and customer retention-to measurable campaign outcomes.\n\nIdentify opportunities across major financial services moments, including product launches, tax season, annual enrollment periods, and shifts in consumer financial needs.\n\nStructure and negotiate complex commercial agreements.\n\nBuild clear, data-driven business cases that demonstrate advertiser ROI and long-term platform value.\n\nPartner with Account Managers to support seamless post-sale transitions, campaign success, renewals, and expansion.\n\nCollaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Policy, and Operations to support complex deals and inform future advertising solutions.\n\nPartner with advertisers and internal teams to navigate industry-specific advertising, privacy, and compliance requirements.\n\nMaintain strong pipeline management, accurate forecasting, and a deep understanding of Financial Services industry trends.\n\nYou might thrive in this role if you:\nHave 10+ years of experience in digital advertising, performance marketing, client strategy, consulting, or enterprise sales.\n\nHave experience working with Financial Services advertisers, such as banks, credit card issuers, insurance providers, investment and wealth management firms, lending platforms, or fintech companies.\n\nHave 3+ years of experience advising and influencing senior executives and client stakeholders.\n\nHave a proven track record of owning revenue targets and closing complex advertising or commercial deals.\n\nUnderstand financial services customer journeys, acquisition funnels, customer lifetime value, and performance metrics.\n\nHave experience navigating the advertising, privacy, and compliance considerations of a regulated industry.\n\nCan create compelling business cases and translate advertiser objectives into measurable partnership strategies.\n\nHave strong verbal and written communication skills.\n\nCan operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.\n\nAre excited to help shape a new advertising platform while maintaining high standards for user experience, trust, and responsible growth.\n\nAbout OpenAI\nOpenAI is an AI research and deployment company dedicated to ensuring that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity.
