We turn product expertise, research and customer experience into useful stories, presentations and demonstrations, working closely with Product Marketing, Product, Events and Demo Studio.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager focused on first-party and third-party events (examples include OpenAI DevDay, AWS re:Invent and vertical summits). You’ll develop keynote and breakout presentations that give audiences a clear perspective, concrete examples and something useful to take back to their work.\nYou’ll work directly with speakers and subject-matter experts to uncover the substance of a talk, shape its narrative, and write the presentation and speaker materials. You’ll partner with PMM and Product to ensure the content is accurate and relevant, conduct research when a story needs stronger evidence, and work with Demo Studio to create engaging demonstrations and event activations. This is a hands-on individual-contributor role with ownership of assigned talks from brief through delivery.\nIn this role, you will:\nDevelop keynote and breakout presentations for first-party and third-party events, from audience briefs and session abstracts through outlines, decks, scripts and speaker notes.\n\nPartner with PMM and Product, and conduct research when needed, to make talks insightful, accurate and grounded in relevant product capabilities, customer examples and evidence.\n\nInterview speakers and subject-matter experts to draw out their expertise and turn complex material into a clear story with useful audience takeaways.\n\nPrepare speakers through content reviews and rehearsals, refining the presentation, pacing and delivery so they are ready for the stage.\n\nWork with Demo Studio to develop engaging demos and event activations that support the story, with clear briefs, speaker transitions and rehearsal plans.\n\nOwn content workback plans for assigned sessions, coordinating contributors, reviews, approvals and rehearsals with Events and production partners, and raising risks early.\n\nAdapt strong event material into reusable presentations, webinar content and follow-up assets, working with channel owners to extend its value beyond the live event.\n\nUse audience questions, session feedback and speaker debriefs to improve future talks, and maintain reusable briefs, presentation templates and approved examples for the team.\n\nYou might thrive in this role, if you have:\nExperience in content marketing, editorial, product marketing or event content, with a portfolio of keynote or breakout presentations and a clear account of their contribution.\n\nStrong writing and editing skills, including the ability to build a narrative, explain technical subjects clearly and write for spoken delivery.\n\nExperience interviewing subject-matter experts and working directly with speakers through reviews and rehearsals.\n\nThe curiosity and judgment to research unfamiliar topics, test the strength of an argument and verify claims with the right experts.\n\nExperience collaborating with demo, creative or production teams to bring a story to life.\n\nThe ability to manage defined content projects across multiple stakeholders and deadlines while maintaining a high editorial standard.\n\nPractical experience using AI tools to support research, drafting and iteration, with careful review of the final work.\n\nAbout OpenAI\nOpenAI is an AI research and deployment company dedicated to ensuring that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity.
