You'll work at the intersection of engineering, product, and go-to-market - identifying emerging opportunities in generative AI, rapidly prototyping new ideas, and shipping innovative experiences while the window of opportunity is still open.\nYou'll contribute to OpenArt Agent and other core products, while helping build and evolve OpenArt Arena. You'll also evaluate the latest video and image generation models, understand where they excel, and translate those insights into better product capabilities and user experiences.\nIt is a highly product-oriented engineering role for someone who follows the market closely, develops strong opinions about where it is heading, and can turn those opinions into polished products. You'll work closely with product, design, and GTM, moving quickly from market signal to prototype to production.\nWhat You’ll Do\nContribute to the development and iteration of OpenArt Agent and other OpenArt products\n\nBuild and evolve OpenArt Arena, creating intuitive experiences for discovering, comparing, and evaluating generative AI models\n\nPartner closely with product, design, and GTM to turn emerging market trends into compelling product capabilities\n\nEvaluate video and image generation models across quality, capabilities, reliability, and real-world use cases\n\nRapidly prototype and ship innovative projects inspired by new models, technologies, creative formats, and shifts in user behavior\n\nBuild polished, production-ready frontend experiences in React and Next.js, end to end\n\nUse product data and user feedback to determine what to improve, expand, or move on from\n\nMake pragmatic trade-offs between speed, correctness, and scalability - and communicate them clearly\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\nCore Requirements\n5+ years of full-stack engineering experience shipping production software\n\nStrong proficiency with React and Next.js, with the ability to build polished product experiences end to end\n\nExperience integrating AI models or APIs into products used by real users\n\nStrong product instincts - you can identify what is interesting, useful, and worth building without waiting for a detailed specification\n\nThe ability to move quickly from an ambiguous idea to a working prototype, and from prototype to reliable production software\n\nGenuine interest in generative AI, creative tools, and the rapidly evolving image and video model ecosystem\n\nA strong AI-assisted coding practice - you use tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor as a core part of how you build, and have real opinions about what makes them effective\n\nClear communication - you can explain what you built, why it matters, and the trade-offs behind your decisions\n\nNice to Have\nHands-on experience with image or video generation models\n\nExperience designing or running model evaluations, benchmarks, or comparison systems\n\nExperience building AI-powered creative products, agent experiences, or consumer applications\n\nFamiliarity with product analytics, experimentation, or growth-oriented product development\n\nStrong visual and interaction design instincts\n\nStartup experience, or experience taking a product from 0 to 1 -
