The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a solid grasp of accounting principles, and experience working with billing systems and cross-functional teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nPrepare, review, and issueaccuratecustomer invoicesin accordance withcontracts, pricing agreements, and company policies\nReconcile billing data against contracts, purchase orders, and service records to ensure accuracy\nMonitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances\nProcess credit memos, adjustments, and refunds as needed\nInvestigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and customer inquiries\nMaintainaccuratebilling records and supporting documentation for audit purposes\nCollaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure billing accuracy\nAssistwith month-end close activities, including revenue recognition and account reconciliations\nGenerate billing reports and metrics for management review\nIdentifyopportunities to improve billing processes and systems\nEnsure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and applicable regulations\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)\n2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or general accounting\nRequired:hands-on experience with NetSuite for billing, invoicing, and financial reporting\nRequired:experience using Salesforce for managing customer/account data andsyncingwith billing workflows\nStrong Excel skills; experience with formulas, pivot tables, and reporting\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\nUnderstanding of GAAP and basic revenue recognition principles\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with contract billing, subscription billing, or usage-based billing models\nExperience with NetSuite-Salesforce integration tools or workflows\nCompany Information\nOpenExchange is the worldwide trusted leader in video and multimedia solutions for investor communications.
