Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership\n\nProvide hands-on technical leadership, coaching, and guidance to software engineers.\nOversee the design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, and highly available applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern front-end frameworks (Angular).\nDefine and drive architectural best practices including microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native design.\nStay up to date with emerging Java ecosystem trends and guide technical strategy and innovation. Team Management\nLead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, setting clear goals and performance expectations.\nFoster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.\nEnable career growth through coaching, feedback, and skill development.\nBalance workloads to optimize team efficiency and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions. Operational Excellence\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives using metric-driven insights and engineering best practices.\nMonitor and manage key operational metrics such as resource utilization, delivery timelines, and system performance.\nImprove system scalability, reliability, and resiliency through proactive architecture and process improvements. Project & Stakeholder Management\nLead execution of large-scale projects using Agile methodologies.\nCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including product, QA, and business teams.\nDrive roadmap planning and ensure alignment with business objectives.\nMake data-driven decisions balancing immediate deliverables and long-term strategic goals. Budget & Resource Management\nPlan and manage engineering budgets and resource allocation.\nEnsure optimal utilization of engineering capacity while maintaining cost efficiency. On-Call Responsibilities\nParticipate in a rotational on-call schedule to ensure application reliability and business continuity. Required Qualifications\n12–14 years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.\nStrong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture.\nExperience with full-stack development.\nExpertise in designing and operating secure, scalable, highly available distributed systems.\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP acceptable).\nStrong database knowledge (MySQL or other relational databases\nSolid understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices\nStrong skills in Object-Oriented Design, system design, and security principles.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
