You will be part of a high-performing engineering team responsible for building intuitive, performant, and scalable applications that help modernize inventory management for our customers.\nThe ideal candidate is first and foremost a skilled front-end developer who cares about user experience, design systems, and clean, maintainable code-but also has the ability to contribute to backend APIs and services when needed.\nYou Are:\nUI/UX-minded. You balance speed and quality, making thoughtful trade-offs to deliver business value quickly.\n\nYou Will:\nDevelop and maintain backend services using Java Spring Boot, focusing on building scalable, high-performance APIs and microservices.\n\nDevelop and maintain modern frontend applications, focusing on responsive design, accessibility, and seamless user experience.\n\nDesign, implement, and optimize ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and process data from multiple sources efficiently.\n\nArchitect and maintain data storage solutions in PostgreSQL or other SQL-based databases, ensuring high availability, integrity, and performance.\n\nLeverage AWS cloud services to deploy and manage backend and data engineering workloads, implementing best practices for security, cost optimization, and scalability.\n\nCollaborate with frontend and product teams to integrate backend services seamlessly with modern UI frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).\n\nPartner with business stakeholders to identify success metrics, develop technical solutions, and support data-driven decision-making.\n\nImplement monitoring, logging, and automation to improve system reliability and efficiency.\n\nTroubleshoot and optimize backend performance, ensuring seamless data flows and API interactions.\n\nContribute to architecture discussions, best practices, and continuous product improvements.\n\nWho You Will Work With:\nReporting to the Software Engineering Manager, this role will collaborate closely with frontend developers, product managers, data analysts, and DevOps engineers on a regular basis.\n\nFrequent cross-functional interaction to ensure alignment on product goals, performance metrics, and data requirements.\n\nMust Have’s:\n4+ years of hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot, including API development, microservices, and performance optimization.\n\n3+ years of hands-on experience in modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular or Vue), including building responsive, user-friendly interfaces.\n\nStrong experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server), including writing complex queries and database optimization.\n\nProven experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.\n\nProficiency in AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, Athena) and cloud architecture best practices.\n\nStrong programming skills in Java, Python, or other modern languages for backend and data processing.\n\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps workflows.\n\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex technical challenges.\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.\n\nNice to Have’s:\nFamiliarity with data engineering principles such as big data, streaming, and event-driven architectures.\n\nExperience with data orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster) or real-time data frameworks (Kafka, Spark).\n\nKnowledge of security best practices and compliance in cloud-based applications.\n\nQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
