You will be part of the Operations team responsible for maximizing operational efficiency and managing inspector workflows across field locations. You will be involved in creating daily inspector schedules, applying route optimization tools, and partnering with field managers to balance workloads. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in logistics management, data-driven resource allocation, and cross-functional problem solving. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in routing and logistics.\nYou Are:\nAnalytical: Able to compile, interpret, and leverage business intelligence and geographical data to make independent routing decisions.\nA Strategic Problem Solver: Focused on critical thinking and evaluating the operational impact of routing choices across the organization.\nSelf-Motivated & Adaptable: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing workloads, prioritizing tasks, and driving project completion independently.\nA Collaborative Communicator: Displays excellent oral and written communication skills while building strong working relationships with field personnel and leadership.\nCustomer-Centric: Dedicated to maintaining high service quality standards and resolving field and inspector concerns efficiently and professionally.\nYou Will:\nCollaborate with the Director of Operations to establish, implement, and optimize daily Inspector route structures and dispatch plans.\nUtilize route optimization software and analytical data in coordination with the Dispatch team to drive operational efficiencies and communicate schedule updates.\nDirect and manage daily routing activities within established time, cost, quality, and resource constraints.\nPerform periodic data management reviews and route assessments to identify opportunities for continuous optimization.\nAct as a primary point of contact for resolving Inspector concerns, disputes, and complaints in a professional manner, escalating critical issues as needed.\nPartner cross-functionally across all levels of the OPENLANE organization to promote positive employee relations, teamwork, and strong field participation.\nWho You Will Work With: Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role will collaborate with Dispatch Teams, Field Managers, and Field Inspectors on a daily basis.\nPartner with IT and Operations Management on system requirements and routing software enhancements.\nInteract across various organizational levels within the OPENLANE structure.\nWhere You Work: Your work is performed as a Remote employee.\nMust Have’s:\n3+ Years of Experience: Demonstrated experience in routing, logistics, or operational scheduling.\nEducation Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.\nSoftware Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite and specialized route optimization/GIS software.\nOperational Availability: Must be able to work full-time shift hours, which may fall outside standard business hours.\nTravel Flexibility: Willingness to travel periodically for training and operational alignment.\nNice to Have’s:\nBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.\nIn-depth geographic routing knowledge within assigned coverage territories.\nPrior experience within the automotive remarketing or field inspection industries.\nSound like a match?
