OPENLANE, a leader in automotive remarketing, is looking for a Security Guard with experience in inventory control and customer service. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a security capacity.\nYou Are:\nObservant. You can identify if something, or someone, seems out of place.\nReliable. As a consistent point of contact for our team and our customers, reliability is a must.\nAdaptable. You’ll go with the flow and can prioritize tasks to keep traffic flowing at our gate.\nHelpful. You’ll interact with a broad range of customers, contractors, transporters, and coworkers. \nCareful. You are mindful of your surroundings, working safely and carefully.\nYou Will:\nEnsure site security by maintaining the auction perimeter; verifying proper clearance for personnel and customers, transporters, and supply companies; and completing rounds\nInventory, record, and store personal property from repossessed vehicles. \nMay be responsible for completing vehicle stock in/check-out, using a handheld device \nLook up AuctionTrac data for customers, guiding them to where the inventory is located\nProvide excellent customer service by assisting dealers with various procedures and requests in an efficient and timely manner\nMust Haves:\n1-3 years experience in a Security role is preferred\nHigh School diploma or equivalent \nA valid Class 5 Drivers’ license is required\nValid BST license \nBasic computer & smartphone skills \nExperience working outside in all weather conditions\nStrong customer service and communication skills\nNice to Haves:\nFirst Aid/CPR certification\nAbility to drive both standard & automatic transmissions\nSound like a match?
