The ideal candidate will reside within this area.\nWe're Looking For:\nA Title Clerk who acts as a support partner by verifying and processing all incoming titles. The Title Clerk is responsible for ensuring all titles are processed and verified accurately, efficiently, and effectively by following correct policies and procedures. Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal laws are always followed. The Title Clerk collaborates with various departments and has no direct reports.\nWhat You'll Do:\nPerforms data entry, and inputs title information into the system.\n\nVerifies payment status.\n\nChecks vehicle titles and/or supporting documentation for accuracy ensuring the title is acceptable under state law by the buyer and does not contain any alterations.\n\nRe-assigns title and provides supporting documentation based on confirmations of sale for large consignors as well as dealer-to-dealer transactions.\n\nScans titles into electronic format.\n\nCreates shipping labels, packages, and seals, and sends titles to buyers daily via Federal Express.\n\nEnsures titles are delivered to the correct purchasing dealer and/or buyer.\n\nResponsible for running title reports and assisting with title inquiry emails.\n\nFiles titles that are awaiting payment into a secured fi reproof title cabinet. Assists Coordinators/Leads with reporting, audits, title updates, and/or phone calls.\n\nOther projects and tasks as assigned.\n\nWhat You Need:\nAttention to detail and ability to accurately distinguish between numbers and letters and alphabetize.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nMust exhibit strong team player attributes with the ability to multi-task and prioritize as well as work independently.\n\nMust type 55 WPM and have strong 10-key typing skills.\n\nTwo years of experience in data entry or title work is required with automotive experience preferred.\n\nGeneral automotive knowledge is required.\n\nConflict resolution and customer service skills are required.\n\nA notary public license within 6 months of hire is preferred.\n\nBasic knowledge of Google applications.\n\nHigh School Diploma or GED required with some college preferred.\n\n Sound like a match?
