OpenLoop is looking for a Vice President, Clinical to join our team remotely. This role will be a member of the clinical leadership team and report to the head of the PC group. This critical team member will lead and develop various areas of our clinical operations, including but not limited to managing our various clinical service lines, strengthening clinical quality metrics, and developing/mentoring medical providers in telehealth best practices.\nYou would qualify if:\nYou are an M.D. or D.O. and meet the required board certifications & licensing as outlined below\n\nYou have years of telehealth experience\n\nYou have leadership experience in telehealth, specifically managing / coaching other clinicians, within telehealth operations, and are familiar with telehealth best practices\n\nYou have weight-loss medicine experience\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\nManage and lead a team of growing healthcare providers including NPs, MDs, and DOs\n\nSupervise and manage clinicians to ensure patient services are delivered effectively within the scope of the plan\n\nSpearhead the provider group’s clinical productivity alongside other members of the clinical leadership and clinical operations team\n\nEstablish recurring 1:1s with healthcare providers as needed\n\nDevelop and manage clinical protocols\n\nWork with quality and enablement teams to ensure the clinical standard of care of health professionals\n\nProvide medical personnel with leadership, decision-making and direction in patient care services and defined areas, ensuring team feels empowered to serve as patient representatives/advocates and creates a medical environment in which collaboration is valued and excellence is prioritized in clinical care\n\nIdentify areas of process improvements and inefficiencies\n\nWork closely with all levels of stakeholders to execute processes and procedures\n\nExecute project management skills through leading internal meetings in efforts of problem identification and resolution\n\nLead in optimizing the quality and efficiency of day-to-day operations of the group, including but not limited to creation of policies and procedures and instituting/maintaining internal and external quality improvement measures for telemedicine\n\nResponsible for continued assessment of performance improvement to promote practice growth and development\n\nProvides clinical leadership by directing, coordinating and delegating patient care in an organized manner, allowing for flexibility\n\nAbility to effectively communicate expectations, motivate individuals, foster collaboration between departments and demonstrate a proven ability to provide positive and motivating leadership that supports teamwork\n\nWhen needed, provide safe, effective, and compassionate care via telemedicine to patients across the country (based on licensure) for a wide variety of conditions\n\nOther duties as assigned\n\nWho You Are:\nLicensed and board certified Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine M.D. or D.O. required\n\nObesity Medicine board certification preferred but not required\n\nActive unrestricted medical license in 5-10 states within the United States required\n\nAt a minimum, 3 years of management of medical providers in a US health system within the past 5 years or recent relevant experience required\n\nPrior experience leading clinical teams, preferably with educational experience and/or strategic planning experience\n\nPrior experience in virtual care required\n\nPrior experience in clinical protocol development and management for the purpose of guiding virtual care required\n\nPrior experience in medical weight loss required, and prior experience preferred in testosterone replacement therapy, hormone replacement therapy, functional/longevity/peptide medicine, remote patient monitoring, and chronic care management\n\nPrior experience in virtual clinical operations required\n\nProficient with Google Suite, virtual communication platforms, and AI required\n\nAble to quickly adapt to new technologies, such as software and operating systems\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nAbility to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and stakeholders\n\nTeam player\n\nAble to quickly pivot as needed in a rapidly growing startup environment\n\nPassionate about motivating and growing a successful team\n\nBenefits:\nWe offer a competitive annual salary + an annual bonus\n\nFlexible Time Off\n\nMedical, dental, and vision benefits\n\n401k program\n\nThis is a fully remote position\n\nWe manage and pay for all of your license renewals\n\nOur provider group's benefits may vary from those listed above - ask your recruiter for details during your interview conversation.\n\nNOTE: Applicants with an inherent conflict, such as owning their own business that provides the same or similar services may not be engaged.\nOpenLoop Health, Inc.
