As a Developer Advocate, you will be the face of OpenObserve, working closely with developers, engineers, and industry experts to promote the adoption and success of our platform. Your primary goal will be to educate, inspire, and empower developers to build amazing things with OpenObserve.\nResponsibilities:\nCommunity Building:\nFoster a strong sense of community among OpenObserve users, contributors, and partners.\n\nDevelop and execute strategies to grow the community, including meetups, webinars, and online forums.\n\nCollaborate with the community to gather feedback, prioritize features, and drive the project roadmap.\n\nContent Creation:\nDevelop high-quality technical content (blog posts, tutorials, videos, and documentation) to showcase OpenObserve's capabilities and best practices.\n\nCreate engaging demos, prototypes, and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the value of OpenObserve.\n\nEvangelism:\nRepresent OpenObserve at industry conferences, meetups, and hackathons to promote the project and build relationships with key stakeholders.\n\nDevelop and deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training sessions to educate developers about OpenObserve.\n\nDeveloper Support:\nProvide technical support and guidance to developers through various channels (e.g., GitHub, Slack, forums).\n\nHelp troubleshoot issues, provide code reviews, and offer best practices advice.\n\nCustomer support:\nDrive technical solutions discussions with your customers, diving deep into the details to solve complex technical business problems and use your knowledge to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient solutions.\n\nConduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or already using OpenObserve\n\nCollaboration:\nWork closely with the OpenObserve engineering team to stay up-to-date on the latest developments and provide feedback on the project roadmap.\n\nCollaborate with other open-source projects and industry partners to identify opportunities for integration and growth.\n\nRequirements:\n3+ years of experience in a developer advocacy or similar role, with a focus on open-source technologies.\n\nStrong technical background in software development, with experience in languages such as Java, Python, or Go.\n\nExcellent communication, presentation, and writing skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nExperience with containerization (e.g., Docker), orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and observability tools (e.g., Opentelemetry, OpenObserve, Prometheus, Grafana, ...).\n\nStrong understanding of the open-source ecosystem and the importance of community engagement.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a remote team, with a strong focus on self-motivation and time management.\n\nWillingness to travel to industry events and conferences (approximately 20% of the
