You'll set the vision for what it's like to work there, then build it. When a meeting room connects on the first try, a new hire is up and running before lunch on day one, or the wifi holds through an All Hands, that's your work.\nYou'll join a small team with very high talent density, where everyone owns big problems and ships fast. You'll report to the Head of IT & Security and have the autonomy to make the call without waiting on sign-off. How fast we move depends on our tools working, and in New York, that part is yours.\nThis role is fully onsite in NYC, five days a week. It isn't hybrid or remote. Walk-up support and office hardware need someone in the room.\nThe office is only half the job. From NYC you'll also run IT for a global remote workforce: onboarding, access, technical support, and a MacBook fleet across time zones. Some days the office wifi and an urgent offboarding will need you at the same moment, and you'll decide which comes first.\nWhat You'll Do\nStand up and run meeting tech: Zoom Rooms in every conference room and the All Hands space, plus digital displays throughout the office.\n\nOwn the Ubiquiti network, wifi, and internet, from deployment through uptime.\n\nOwn badge access for employees, visitor badge issuance, and access logs.\n\nDeploy and maintain desk setups: monitors, docks, cables, peripherals, and ergonomic equipment.\n\nProvide fast, friendly walk-up support to in-office employees and remote support for the global workforce.\n\nCoordinate with Workplace Operations on the build-out, moves, and anywhere facilities and tech overlap.\n\nPartner with People on onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors, so access starts on day one and ends on the last.\n\nAdminister SSO and MDM, handle access change requests, and own MacBook configuration and fleet standards.\n\nSupport the daily stack: Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and everything else people actually use.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nSeveral years in hands-on IT operations.\n\nReal experience standing up office tech, not just maintaining it: AV and conference rooms, enterprise networking (Ubiquiti a plus), and physical access control.\n\nAdmin-level fluency with SSO and MDM on a Mac-first fleet.\n\nExperience hiring and managing outsourced vendors: MSPs, AV installers, ISPs, network and wifi specialists, and hardware suppliers.\n\nClear, proactive communication, whether you're explaining a network cutover to leadership or walking a new hire through their first login.\n\nReal empathy for the people you support.
