This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can run a high-performing security team, own the tools and processes behind it, and act as a trusted security advisor to our clients. You'll report to the EVP of Technology Enabled Solutions.\nWhat you'll do\nLead the team\nManage a team of security engineers delivering managed security operations, incident response support, and security tooling for clients\nSet clear operating standards for escalations, documentation, and service quality\nBuild career paths and technical development plans for your team\nOwn security operations\nOversee daily SOC-supporting services: alert triage, investigation, escalation, remediation tracking, and client reporting\nLead major incident response, including executive communication, containment coordination, and post-incident reporting\nCoordinate with Legal, Corporate InfoSec, cyber insurance, and external DFIR partners when needed\nOwn the tooling\nManage the operational effectiveness of platforms like Rapid7, Microsoft Defender, Cisco Umbrella, and Mimecast\nEvaluate new security technologies and automation opportunities\nPartner with Engineering to improve integrations across security, monitoring, and ticketing systems\nBe a client advisor\nAct as a trusted advisor on risk reduction, security posture, and incident readiness\nLead QBRs, service reviews, and executive briefings\nTranslate complex security issues into clear business language for client and internal leadership\nSupport RFPs, proposals, and security-related solution design with Account Management and Sales\nDrive process and reporting\nBuild service delivery processes aligned to ITIL and SOC best practices\nDevelop KPIs and reporting on alert volumes, incident trends, response times, and tool health\nIdentify and close gaps in staffing, tooling, and client coverage\nWhat you bring\nBachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or equivalent experience\n7+ years in cybersecurity, security operations, or infrastructure security, including 3+ years leading technical security teams\nMSP, MSSP, or client-facing technology services background\nStrong grasp of SOC operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and cloud/on-prem infrastructure (Azure, networking, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune)\nHands-on or leadership experience with platforms like Rapid7, Microsoft 365 security tools, Defender, Cisco Umbrella, or Mimecast\nComfort communicating with executives, clients, and technical teams alike\nNice to have\nExperience leading managed SOC or MDR services\nFamiliarity with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001\nCISSP, CISM, Security+, CySA+, or equivalent\nServiceNow experience\nBackground supporting legal, financial services, or other regulated industries\nThe Compensation range for this role is 150,000 to 175,000 USD per year and may include an annual bonus.
