Your primary focus will be to ensure that our guests have a positive and memorable experience while overseeing and supporting a team of floor hosts. Your leadership skills, coupled with your passion for hospitality, will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and fostering a sense of community within our establishment. This role reports to the Lead Floor Host or the Client Relations Manager.\nSchedule: Mondays: 9:30AM-3:30PM, Tues- Friday's: 9:30AM-6:30PM - 37.5 hours per week\nJob Responsibilities\nProvide real-time support for meetings on all office floors, connect with meeting organizers and guests as meetings begin. \nPrior to meetings, verify room requirements via email to ensure client’s expectations are met. (ex. lighting, supplies, audio visual equipment, temperature, etc.) \nContinuously perform floor tours and ensure the entire space is in optimal appearance and condition. \nUtilize tools and resources to identify creative solutions and anticipate customer needs, in our commitment to maintain a first point of contact resolution. \nKeep abreast of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses, in person, through email, and on telephone. Advocating for the client’s hoteling culture and mobile way of working by supporting guests and visitors who need help securing workspace. \nVerify occupancy of rooms and reclaim unused meeting space as appropriate. \nOptimize meeting rooms and workspaces, making sure space that is reserved is used. \nMonitoring all meeting rooms for participants arriving/leaving with scheduled timing, rooms booked that have no show and the correct number of participants booked and closes work area at scheduled times, ensuring full preparation for operation/function. \nWork with the facility maintenance team to ensure that the space remains pristine. This includes ticketing and emailing any issues such as furniture stains, damaged carpet, lighting issues, etc. Provide a contact card for additional in-meeting support and return upon completion to reset the room for the following meeting. \nPosition Requirements/Experience/ Education:\n2-3 years’ experience working in a service industry such as Hotel and Restaurant, Hospitality and/or Event Planning preferred \nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nMust have strong technical skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Google docs, audio/visual equipment) \nAble to stand for extended periods of time \nWorks well in a fast-paced environment \nGood listening and professional demeanor \nMust be able to navigate clients of every professional level. \nMaintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor \nAbility to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater\nAbility to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.\nAbility to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time\nCompetencies:\nClient first mentality \nDemonstrates accuracy and attention to detail \nDetail oriented with the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced high energy environment where priorities are constantly changing \nSolid decision-making skills within the scope of the position \nAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressure \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. \nActively listen and identify both spoken and unspoken needs \nAbility to use technology \nPrioritizing, flexibility, adaptability \nThe Compensation range for this role is up to20.80 USD per hour.
