The Analyst gathers, analyzes and delivers expert information on a variety of subjects, people, or companies in response to on-demand requests.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nConducts high-level, customizable research and analysis in legal, business, and other subjects to support the firm’s clients and practices as well as its business development and strategic initiatives\nReviews, evaluates, and recommends research resources\nPresents research results with expert analysis and prepares written research reports as needed\nCollaborates with other department personnel to support business development, competitive research and strategic planning initiatives\nCreates, and keeps current, research-related content for internal knowledge sharing systems, such as BIN and LibGuides\nServes as the department expert in select subject, industries or types of research, and leads special projects as assigned\nJOB REQUIREMENTS\nBachelor’s Degree in Library Science or related field preferred\n2+ years experience providing support for research and business in a corporate or law firm environment\nKnowledge of research methodology as well as resources for all media types in the areas of law relevant to the firm’s practices.\nKnowledge of library technologies for communication, research intake, knowledge sharing and resource management. Experience with request tracking software Quest is a plus.\nAbility to think strategically with careful attention to detail\nStrong customer service orientation\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills\nThe Compensation range for this role is 30.00 to 34.00 USD per hour and may be eligible for an annual bonus.
