Join us.\nYOUR IMPACT:\nAs a Senior Software Developer- Development, you will be part of the team building OpenText's critical Enterprise Output Management product suite, which is redefining how enterprises manage and deliver outputs from their business applications.You will work across the full software life cycle, from requirements analysis through design, coding, testing, and maintenance. Our products range from enterprise backend and data-center systems to end-user-focused applications, with team members and customers located around the world.\nWHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:\nContribute to the full software life cycle, including requirements analysis, development, and delivery.\nCommunicate actively with stakeholders to understand business and functional needs.\nLead and participate in estimation activities.\nWork within a hybrid agile and waterfall development process.\nLead and contribute actively to all product development activities, including investigation, design, coding, and testing.\nBuild and enhance enterprise-grade software in C across Linux and Windows environments.\nApply strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex product and customer issues.\nEstablish best practices that support product quality and an exceptional customer experience.\nSupport application integration and deployment using technologies such as Perl, Python, REST, XML, JSON, UI frameworks, and web servers.\nWork with databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.\nUse communication and web protocols such as HTTP, SSL, and FTP in product development and troubleshooting.\nUse network traces and other debugging tools to diagnose issues.\nGenerate new ideas that could optimize product maintenance.\nIdentify opportunities to improve code quality, development practices, and supportability.\nShare knowledge and contribute to a culture of quality and engineering excellence.\nWork closely with globally distributed team members, product stakeholders, and customers.\nApply strong communication and problem-solving skills to align technical solutions with business needs.\nCollaborate with development, quality, and support teams to deliver reliable enterprise software.\nWHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED :\nBachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.\n6+ years of software development experience.\nStrong understanding of and programming skills in \"C/C++\" in Linux and Windows development environments.\nExperience working with databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.\nUnderstanding of communication and web protocols, including HTTP, SSL, and FTP.\nExperience with source code repositories such as SVN and TeamForge environments.\nExcellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills.\nDeep understanding of enterprise software, its life cycle, development and quality methodology, and hybrid agile and waterfall processes.\nExperience working with geographically distributed teams and customers.\nKnowledge of debugging tools, including network trace analysis.\nApplication integration and deployment experience with Perl, Python, REST, XML, JSON, UI, and web servers,Java experience.\nExperience contributing to enterprise backend or data-center products.\nONE LAST THNIG :\nOpenText is more than just a corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.
