Aligning with the company’s technical career path, OpenText offers you both vertical and horizontal growth in engineering, IT, and services.\nWHAT THE ROLE OFFERS\nMaintain existing instances, setting up monitoring, troubleshooting performance and functional issues, patch upgrades, major upgrades, client migrations and various other tasks necessary for supporting OpenText SaaS clients. Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.\nThe primary product lines that the Cloud Applications Developer supports are PPM.\nThe Cloud Applications Developer is responsible for establishing work environments for the OpenText SaaS clients along with debugging and investigating problems and failures within the environments, which include web application servers, infrastructure & database components to a certain extent.\nThe Cloud Applications Developer interfaces with DBAs, Network Administrators, Application Consultants, Client Managers, and clients to handle multiple ongoing activities.\nIdentify and document repeatable demand activities and support Tier 2 Support, Onboarding Team and other teams who will execute them. Provide technical feedback to Product Marketing and R&D and assist Tier 2 Support and Onboarding Team by providing technical and clients domain expertise.\nWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED\nBachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.\nOver 7 years of experience in a similar role.\nWell versed in all aspects of administrating PPM across multiple platforms/installations.\nAble to advise on and influence clients to follow Best Practices and methodologies.\nAble to troubleshoot problems in distributed web applications.\nAble to support clients through long upgrade processes.\nStrong technical expertise in networking, databases, AWS, Linux, and application support, with deep knowledge of Oracle/PostgreSQL and containerization technologies.\nAutomation and modern IT skills including Jenkins, Python, Ansible, Bash scripting, and AI, with ITIL certification considered an advantage.\nOne Last Thing\nOpenText is more than just a corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.\nJoin us on our mission to drive positive change through privacy, technology, and collaboration.
