Your impact
As a Lead Cloud Application Consultant, you will lead the delivery and support of OpenText solutions deployed within the OpenText Cloud, ensuring reliability, performance, and service excellence for our clients. Acting as a senior technical expert and escalation point, you will guide the resolution of complex operational issues, collaborate across multiple teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will also play an important role in mentoring and developing junior team members, sharing technical expertise and best practices to strengthen the team's overall capability. Your contributions will directly support service excellence, system stability, and client success across complex cloud environments.

- Opportunity to lead support and administration activities for enterprise-scale applications within the OpenText Cloud
- Exposure to leading cloud technologies including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Kubernetes, and VMware
- Collaboration with Product Support, IT, Network Operations, and Professional Services teams on complex technical challenges
- A leadership role that includes mentoring, coaching, and developing junior consultants and team members
- Hands-on responsibility for production application management, monitoring, troubleshooting, and service restoration
- The ability to influence operational excellence, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
What you need to succeed
- Extensive experience in an IT support or consulting environment supporting enterprise-level, multi-tiered applications
- Strong experience working within an ITIL-based service delivery framework and cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Administration experience with Windows, UNIX/Linux, VMware, Kubernetes, and web or application servers including IIS, Apache, Tomcat, and JBoss
- Knowledge of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL, along with scripting or programming experience in SQL, Shell, Java, or JavaScript
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and act as an escalation point for complex issues
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service while supporting rotational shifts and on-call activities
