Join us.\nYOUR IMPACT\nThe Lead Product Manager is responsible for driving product execution and release delivery throughout the product development lifecycle. Working closely with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and other cross-functional stakeholders, you will translate strategic product objectives into actionable plans and successful product outcomes.\nIn this role, you will serve as the bridge between business priorities and technical execution, ensuring that customer needs, product strategy, and engineering investments are effectively aligned. You will lead requirement definition, prioritization, backlog management, and release planning activities while helping teams deliver high-quality enterprise software solutions at scale.\nThe successful candidate will bring strong leadership, product ownership, Agile delivery expertise, and a passion for continuously improving product development processes within a global organization.\nWhat The Role Offers\nDefining and managing the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and ensuring timely delivery.\nConducting market research to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and validate solutions.\nCollaborating with key customers (internal/external) to acquire and respond to product feedback for future product releases and communicate roadmap details.\nUnderstanding product competitors and supporting the development of competitive responses for sales and marketing.\nIndependently managing products and ensuring alignment with other cross-functional teams.\nBalancing customer needs with strategic priorities to define a roadmap that drives product success.\nTracking and reporting on key product performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing data, and identifying areas for improvement.\nManaging buy/build/partner technology decisions.\nReducing COGS by leveraging automation, building scalable systems, and utilizing elastic infrastructure to support dynamic product demands.\nSupporting architectural reviews, evaluating technical debts, and educating stakeholders on business outcomes for addressing the same.\nContributing to defining and managing pricing and billing strategies.\nCollaborating with Product Marketing on executing successful product launches, including communication and marketing strategies.\nChampioning the product to external partners and stakeholders.\nWherever appropriate, deliver capabilities as APIs first and commercialize APIs\nWhat You Need To Succeed\n5+ years of experience in product ownership/management roles and an overall experience of more than 10 years in IT\nProficient in Agile methodology, writing user stories, and backlog grooming.\nAble to independently conduct user research.\nStrong understanding of SAP, SaaS architecture and cloud technologies\nStrong business and technical acumen with the ability to translate business objectives into product requirements and successful product outcomes\nExperience with enterprise-grade content management systems is desired.\nLeadership skills with an ability to influence cross-functional distributed global teams and drive alignment without direct authority \nExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.\nExperience in OpenText Content Products is preferred\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills.\nBachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer Science, ECE, or related field).\nMaster’s degree in business administration (MBA) or equivalent (preferred focus in Product Management, Strategy, or Analytics).\nKnowledge of AI & ML fundamentals\nOpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
