In this role, you will help design and build the next generation of cloud-native application security testing services used by organizations around the world.\nYou'll work at the intersection of software development, cloud platforms, automation, and security, helping create robust, scalable infrastructure and services that power Fortify's cloud offerings. This position requires employees to be based near and work from one of OpenText's Canadian office locations. Specific work arrangements will align with current OpenText workplace policies.\nYour Impact:\nAs a member of the Fortify Cloud team, you will:\nDesign, develop, and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions supporting Fortify Cloud services across public cloud platforms.\nBuild software, automation, and platform capabilities that improve reliability, scalability, security, and developer productivity.\nDevelop reusable tools, frameworks, and services that simplify deployment and operational management.\nCollaborate with software developers, test developers, security researchers, and product teams to deliver high-quality cloud solutions.\nParticipate in the design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud architectures.\nImprove deployment, testing, monitoring, and operational processes through automation and development best practices.\nTroubleshoot complex production and development issues, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions.\nContribute to technical discussions, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.\nExpand your expertise in cloud technologies, application security, and modern software development practices.\nWhat the role offers:\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in one or more of the following:\no C#/.NET\no Go (Golang)\no Java\no Similar modern programming languages\nExperience designing, developing, testing, and supporting production software throughout the full development lifecycle.\nExperience building and maintaining solutions on at least one major cloud platform: o AWS o Azure o GCP\nExperience implementing infrastructure-as-code using modern IaC frameworks and tools (such as Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi, CloudFormation, AWS CDK, Bicep, or similar).\nStrong understanding of cloud networking fundamentals, including routing, connectivity, and security principles.\nExperience with containerized applications and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.\nSolid understanding of microservices and distributed systems concepts.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, and automated testing practices.\nStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.\nScripting and automation experience using technologies such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.\nFamiliarity with relational databases and SQL concepts.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\nMust be able to work from one of OpenText's Canadian office locations and collaborate effectively with distributed global teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\n5+ years of professional software development experience.\nExperience developing reusable platforms, frameworks, libraries, or automation that improve development productivity.\nExperience designing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures.\nExperience with observability and monitoring technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar preferred.\nExperience working in cybersecurity, application security, or highly regulated environments.\nStrong knowledge of Windows administration and troubleshooting.\nExperience implementing infrastructure testing, validation, and compliance automation.\nDemonstrated ability to mentor peers, influence technical direction, and drive development improvements across teams.\nOne last thing:\nOpenText is more than just a corporation, it's a global community where trust is foundational, the bar is raised, and outcomes are owned.\nJoin us on our mission to drive positive change through privacy, technology, and collaboration.
