Join us.\nTHE OPPORTUNITY\nWe are looking for an experienced and versatile Program Manager to join our Japan Sales Organization. Reporting directly to the President of OpenText Japan, the position is instrumental in delivering strategic initiatives and support achievement of growth targets across several core business units.\nWorking in a highly energetic and dynamic environment, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior sales leadership and global support functions to:\nIdentify, execute and report on strategic sales initiatives\nCreate executive leadership team and board level presentations\nOwn delivery of the quarterly sales business cadence analysis, materials, and actions\nMonitor and analyse KPIs to assess effectiveness and business benefits of strategic initiatives and align on areas of course correction\nProject manage cross-functional initiatives and programs, coordinating activities and resources with regular progress reporting against key milestones, ultimately owning on-time delivery of projects \nDeliver multiple concurrent projects, tracking completion of action items, resolving issues, and mitigating risks in partnership with the Sales Leadership\nWork collaboratively across functions to support our growth agenda\nPerform other responsibilities and tasks as required by the Sales Leadership to drive our growth agenda, including but not limited to, executive reporting, meeting coordination and business planning/ reviews\nWE LOOK FOR SOMEONE WITH\nMinimum 7 years’ relevant experience in program and project management, ideal candidate has experience from top tier Management Consulting firm\nStrong sense of ownership and track record of exceptional-quality deliverables\nAbility to navigate complex multinational and matrix-basedorganizations, being highly skilled at working cross-functionally and building processes, communication and trust across teams- be the ‘glue’ of the extended team\nFlexible and adaptable to time-sensitive situations and the need to work outside of conventional hours to coordinate with team members globally\nStrong experience with Microsoft Office apps, especially MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint\nExperience with SalesForce.com\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent\nAdditionally, an understanding of Go-to-Market strategy within enterprise software sales is advantageous\nWE BELIEVE THIS PERSON\nIs an energetic and passionate problem solver with an agile mind-set and a track record of creating environments that help people do meaningful work\nCommunicates clearly and confidently with team members and stakeholders across the company, comfortable partnering with individual contributors, vendors and C-level executives\nPossesses excellent planning and organizational skills and is self-motivated to deliver exceptional quality without supervision \nHas the ability to prioritize regularly and work iteratively to maximize positive organizational impact\nIs open to international working experiences and expresses values and opinions in fluent English\nApplies a “work out loud” approach, making your work-in-progress visible, and is receptive to constant feedback\nIs curious and actively seeks inspiration and engages in discussion on new operational and organizational theories, technologies and business challenges\nOpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
