Join us.\nYOUR IMPACT\nThe Senior Data Center Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of data center infrastructure. This role helps ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of critical systems while maintaining operational standards and best practices. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise across infrastructure technologies, a proactive mindset, and a hands-on approach to solving complex technical challenges.\nWHAT THE ROLE OFFERS\nDesign and implement data center infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, networking, power, and cooling environments\nSupport capacity planning, scalability initiatives, and infrastructure lifecycle management activities\nContribute to engineering standards, operational best practices, and technology evaluations\nMaintain high levels of availability, performance, and operational excellence across data center environments\nManage and support network and systems infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades\nImprove automation and operational efficiency through scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)\nEnsure compliance with security, change management, and operational processes while collaborating with global teams, vendors, and service providers\nWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED\nDegree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience\n5+ years of experience in data center engineering, infrastructure operations, systems engineering, or related roles\nExperience with data center environments, including power, cooling, racks, cabling, and core IT infrastructure such as compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies\nUnderstanding of high-availability environments, disaster recovery principles, and infrastructure resiliency\nExperience working with colocation providers, vendors, and infrastructure deployments\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills\nVery good English and Dutch language skills are required\nOpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
