The Capture technology transforms electronic and paper documents into application-ready information providing a flexible, end-to-end capture solution that includes document capture, document classification, data extraction, information validation, and delivery to backend system.\nYour Impact:\nWe are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Developer who shares our passion for developing and maintaining the Enterprise Capture product line. OpenText’s Capture solutions are deployed both on premise and in the cloud. OpenText Capture technology transforms digital and paper business documents into application-ready information providing a flexible, end-to-end capture solution that includes document capture, classification, data extraction, information validation, and delivery to line of business or backend systems.\nWhat the role offers:\nAs a Senior Quality Assurance Developer, you will:\nConduct a wide range of quality control tests and analyze to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.\nIndependently work with Stakeholders to understand requirements, develop strategy & test scenarios. \nWork with lead/manager to develop test plans, schedules, and present time estimations for testing activities to be performed.\nIndependently perform automation design, scripting, and maintenance of a test script/environment\nPlan test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment, conduct tests, complete specifications and procedures for products, and document results of tests.\nDebug software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.\nWhat you need to succeed:\nBS or MS in CS or a related technical field and 5+ years of enterprise software QA experience\nExperience with both on-premises and cloud-based applications.\nKnowledge of SQL and relational databases.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\nExperience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot\nAPI testing tools such as Postman or Swagger.\nExperience testing enterprise applications, APIs, and backend services hosted on Linux servers.\nExperience with developing and maintaining Automation scripts in C# programming language.\nExperience testing with Dockers and related containerization technology, Kubernetes or related orchestration software,\nExperience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform\nAbility to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions and Test reports\nGood understanding of QA methodology and Product Development Life Cycle\nPossess strong problem solving skills, right attitude to debug and do RCA.\nPassion for quality\nDesired\nExperience with load, stress, and Performance testing.\nHands-on experience leveraging AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies to improve software quality, testing efficiency, and automation coverage.\nExposure to Test automation tools such as Playwright\nExperience with Gitlab\nOne last thing:\nOpenText is more than a corporation-it’s a global community built on trust, character, and purpose.
