OpenText Capture technology transforms digital and paper business documents into application-ready information, providing a flexible, end-to-end capture solution that includes document capture, classification, data extraction, information validation, and delivery to line of business or backend systems.\nWhat the role offers:\nAs a Senior Software Developer (Server, C++), you will:\nCreate and maintain technical documentation\nDesign and develop Capture components related to capture, processing, and recognition of business documents\nOwn end-to-end; design, development, validation and test automation, deployment, and support in production.\nWork closely with Quality Development to review test plans and test cases\nProvide technical guidance for major software initiatives, including technology standardization and modernization.\nProvide technical team leadership: distribute tasks, track progress, technical risk assessment, problem solving, early risk notification, report progress and status to manager.\nPerform all assigned jobs with minimal assistance from the supervisor\nRespond promptly and professionally to bug reports and customer escalations\nWhat you need to succeed:\nBachelors, MS or PhD in CS or a related technical field and 3+ years of enterprise software development experience\n5+ years of software development experience using Microsoft Development Environment and tools\nRequired\n Knowledge and Experience with C++ (11-23) (required)\nUp to date knowledge of Visual Studio Code with the C# dev kit or any other Linux based IDE. GNU Compiler family or alternatives\nExperience with Windows architecture, Windows services, Web API as well Linux Platforms\nKnowledge about relational databases and SQL\nExperience with Docker and related containerization technology, Kubernetes or related orchestration software, Helm\nExperience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform\nKnowledge and experience in Git version control\nExpertise in low-level diagnostics across both platforms, including crash dump and core dump analysis, memory and leak profiling, and multithreaded race and deadlock debugging.
