Join us.\nYOUR IMPACT\nThis position is for a global Software Auditor and Inventory Analyst whowill play a key role on theOpenText Compliance Management Team. The compliance team is responsible for protecting theIntellectual Property and contractual rights associated with software produced across all business lines.\nThe auditor carries significant responsibility in the license verification process. This individual will be responsible for the collection of data and the creation of complete, accurate, and verifiable reports that reflect a client’s software deployment. These reports are mission-critical, forming the basis of the team’s assessment of license compliance.\nThis position requires significant experience and understanding of software discovery methodologies and tools, audit best practices, inventory data analysis, and project management. The ideal candidate will also have a deep understanding of how software is deployed, managed, and distributed across large enterprises. Experience with reading and interpreting software contracts and license agreements-and formulating audit strategies based on those terms-is also required. Direct, face-to-face experience working with clients in high-stakes environments is a key advantage in this role.\nWHAT THE ROLE OFFERS\nActively manage client engagements during the data-collection and analysis process, meeting stringent timelines.\nDemonstrate a solid understanding of client product licensing and contract terms.\nPerform extensive excel analysis as part of audit execution.\nPresent deployment analysis to technical and non-technical recipients (internal & external), including in-person sessions where appropriate.\nCollaborate with cross functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously. \nIdentify opportunities for new or updated audit methodologies.\nWHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED\n5-8 years of software auditing experience, including direct work with external clients.\nProven ability to engage with clients in both virtual and face-to-face settings, including presenting findings and managing sensitive discussions.\nPreferred third party audit firm experience, including contractual review & software licensing reviews.\nSelf-driven, highly motivated, and able to work both independently and in team environments.\nHard working & detail oriented.\nProfessional and personable demeanour.\nStrong understanding of technology and software license contracts. \nFamiliarity with standard Software License Agreements and the ability to interpret contract language.\nStrong analytical and logic skills. Advanced Excel skills essential.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical findings to diverse audiences.\nAbility to adapt to different client environments and cultural contexts during global audits.\nFlexibility to collaborate across global teams and accommodate various time zones.\nThorough understanding of IT infrastructures and deployment methodologies.\nDesirable Related Skills:\nDirectory Management Skills (AD, LDAP,eDir)\nMultilingual\nVisual Basic programming skills\nSQL proficiency\nOpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
