This role involves ensuring inventory accuracy, implementing FIFO procedures, and supporting various departments with comprehensive inventory control. The Inventory Control Coordinator will also perform regular cycle counts, manage product documentation, and collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize inventory processes and support organizational goals.\nSalary: $23.00 - $27.00/hour\nEssential Functions\nInventory Management\nUtilize the inventory management software system to support various departments.\nPerform data entry for all items and prepare appropriate shipping/pallet tags.\nMaintain accurate inventory counts and documentation for all products, including those pulled for agency orders and those discarded.\nProduct Handling\nHandle incoming and outgoing products to ensure correct counts and proper documentation.\nUnload and inspect inbound freight, document temperatures of frozen/refrigerated items, and assess distribution fitness.\nStock Control\nEnsure FIFO (First In, First Out) within the warehouse and delivery, including managing consume-by dates, product categories, and nutrition rankings in the inventory system.\nCheck stock levels to ensure accurate counts for staging and picking agency orders.\nCycle Counts and Inspections\nPerform scheduled cycle counts across all warehouse areas (dry, cooler, and freezer).\nResearch and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying causes and recommending improvements.\nProduct Tracking and Reporting\nTrack and document all product movements, including returns and discards, to maintain accurate inventory records.\nProvide inventory reports to the Inventory Specialist as needed.\nWarehouse Coordination\nWork with warehouse staff to ensure accurate labeling, storage, and rotation of products.\nRotate and remove products as directed to maintain inventory accuracy and quality.\nGeneral Support\nSupport and maintain inventory tracking, documentation, and reporting processes.\nPerform other duties as assigned to support the overall efficiency and accuracy of inventory management.\nRequirements\nEducation and/or Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nAt least one year’s experience in inventory support. \nExperience using an inventory management software system.\nExperience using standard warehouse equipment, including forklift and pallet jacks\nValid driver's license and proof of driving record required.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nProficiency in computer operations, including sending/receiving emails and preparing basic memos/reports.\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.\nAttention to detail, ability to handle interruptions, maintain focus, and produce accurate work.\nStrong organizational skills are essential. \nSpecial Requirements:\nOccasional travel required for meetings, events, and conferences.\nFlexibility in working hours for occasional special after-hours events or weekend activities.\nWillingness to volunteer for other OFS duties that don’t fall under regular job duties.\nWorking Conditions and Physical Demands:\nAbility to lift at least 25 lbs.\nAbility to stand for extended periods of time, both indoors and
