We are looking for a worker who is able to commit to a full-time schedule during our day shift that runs from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. All interested candidates must have an Associate’s Degree in Electronics, or a Technical School education with a completed certification in electronics. If you are a communicative, diligent, punctual and detail-oriented individual then OPEX may be the right place for you to pursue your career.\nEssential Responsibilities\nTroubleshoot and repair electronics PCBs to component level \nTroubleshoot and repair equipment at the system level (training provided)\nSolder through hole and surface mount technology components in the process of repairs\nCreate daily production reports for individual contributor\nQualifications\nAssociate’s Degree in Electronics, or Technical School education with a completed certification in electronics is required. \nAbility to understand various technical documentation including schematics, component data sheets, Test Procedures, ECOs and other technical documentation.\nPossess a fundamental understanding of Analog and Digital circuitry \nSoldering experience with both through-hole and SMT (IEC/IPC-A-610 Training and certification or better a plus) \nDemonstrate working knowledge of standard test equipment such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Power Supplies\nDemonstrable skills in troubleshooting and critical thinking required. \nMust be an effective communicator with attention to detail \nA+ Certification is a plus \nAll candidates considered for a position will be administered and must pass an electronics exam prior to an offer of employment being extended. \nPhysical/Work Environments\nSitting or standing for extended periods of time \nOccasionally lift 25 pounds \nSquatting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, reaching forward may occur while on the
