This is a fulltime position and may require occasional overtime. This role will perform building maintenance and repair work in areas such as electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical equipment repair, and forklift & scissor lift repair. Participation in various stages of remodeling and renovation will also be expected, utilizing the strengths of the facilities team. This role will be expected to work both independently and within a team throughout various projects.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nPerforms scheduled maintenance tasks to support manufacturing, assembly, and office areas.\nDetect, report, and repair defective equipment, damage, and any questionable conditions, communicating findings to the Facilities Maintenance Manager.\nRepair facilities equipment, tools, and related systems as needed.\nConduct inspections of buildings and grounds at all NJ locations and report findings to the Facilities Maintenance Manager.\nPerforms preventative maintenance on machinery and the building or grounds as required.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nGeneral:\nDemonstrate integrity, reliability, and a strong work ethic.\nSelf-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision when needed.\nWorks effectively in a team environment and communicates clearly with colleagues, vendors, and supervisors.\nPrevious experience in a facilities maintenance or similar technical/building-related role is required.\nAbility to work from heights on ladders and lifts.\nAble to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasional lifting up to 75 pounds.\nValid driver’s license required.\nTechnical Skills:\nTroubleshooting and working with 120-480V systems as well as low voltage control systems.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to determine root cause of equipment failure and think through operations and functions of new equipment, including researching and interpreting equipment documentation and schematics.\nAbility to read and interpret basic blueprints and electrical schematics.\nFamiliar with diagnosing failed motors, contactors, capacitors, and common electrical components.\nHourly Rate:\n$25.00-28.00/hr, depending on
