The position will be responsible for inspecting automation equipment for this global technology leader in high-speed mailroom automation, document imaging, and warehouse automation.\nRequirements\nAssociate’s Degree in Electronics and/or equivalent hands-on job experience\nExperience inspecting electro-mechanical machinery.\n2 + years quality control experience required.\nManufacturing experience preferred.\nWorkplace safety experience a plus.\nExcellent verbal and written communications skills.\nResponsibilities:\nRead blueprints and specifications. \nMonitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.\nRecommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.\nInspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.\nMeasure products with calipers, gauges, or micrometers.\nDefine and analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions on quality issues.\nMake recommendations on all issues regarding quality of production.\nApproves and reject incoming parts.\nApproves in-process machine builds by confirming specifications.\nConduct visual and measurement tests.\nApproves finished products by confirming specifications.\nReturning products for re-work and confirming re-work. \nDocument inspection results by completing reports and logs.\nPhysical/Work Environments\nWorker will be working in a warehouse environment.\nAbility to maneuver a job site, including small spaces in around our equipment.\nSitting and standing for an extended period of time\nWorker must be able to lift 50 pounds.\nSquatting, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, reaching forward will occur while on the job.\nThe hourly range for this position is at $23-27 per hour, based on
