OPHID works with the Ministry of Health and Child Care\n(MOHCC) in implementing these interventions. OPHID is looking for a suitably qualified and motivated individual to fill the\nabove-mentioned post.\nPosition Summary\nThe Clinical Coordinator provides overall clinical leadership, oversight, and coordination across Neotree Zimbabwe’s project\nworkstreams. Working closely with project management, clinical officers, technical developers, research teams, and MOHCC\nstakeholders, this role translates project objectives into safe, high-quality, and standardized clinical implementation at the\nhealth facility level.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities\nKey Responsibilities\nClinical Leadership & Coordination: Provide direct supervisory oversight to the clinical team, track cross-workstream\nimplementation, resolve operational bottlenecks, and ensure timely, high-quality reporting; Quality Assurance & Site\nSupport: Conduct regular supervisory visits to active facilities to monitor clinical tool adoption, decision-support algorithm\nfidelity, and data quality ; Digital Health & Product Feedback: Channel user feedback, usability challenges, and workflow\nneeds from facility staff into the technical product backlog via the Product Owner; lead clinical User Acceptance Testing\n(UAT);Training & Mentorship: Design and quality-assure clinical training curricula, oversee training delivery, and support\nmentorship networks across target facilities; Research & Data Integrity: Support clinical research activities, assist with\ndata quality monitoring, and contribute clinical insights for reporting and publication; Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain\nstrong collaborative relationships with hospital management, clinicians, nurses, and MOHCC representatives.\n\nQualifications and Experience\nPerson Specification\n▪ Qualifications: Qualified Nurse, Medical Doctor (MBChB / Bachelor’s In Nursing), or equivalent clinical degree with\nvalid registration with the relevant Zimbabwean regulatory body.\n▪ Experience: Proven experience in clinical practice, healthcare worker supervision, and multidisciplinary team leadership\nwithin the Zimbabwean healthcare system.\n▪ Skills: Strong organizational and coordination abilities; clear communication skills; willingness to travel regularly to\nsupported health facilities.\n▪ Desirable: Experience in neonatal/pediatric care, digital health/EHR systems, or implementation research.\n\nHow to Apply\nTo Apply\nStep 1: Click Here and scan the QR code below to complete the Application Form.\nStep 2: Submit your CV and application letter by email to , clearly indicating Clinical\nCoordinator in the subject line.\nOPHID and its Consortium partners are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate against any employee or job\napplicant on the basis of race, political affiliation, religion, tribe, national origin, gender, physical or mental disability, health\nstatus (including HIV status) or age.
