He will provide subject matter expertise on cloud services, leading our engineering teams in building secure systems through implementing best engineering practices in an Agile environment.\nIN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL\nDesign & Architecture:\nDesign Azure-hosted solutions that meet business & technical requirements;\n\nCreate highly-available scalable, reliable and secure cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance;\n\nActs as the Azure Cloud Champion for the App Development and DevOps teams.\n\nSecurity & Compliance:\nEnsure compliance with industry standards and firm policies;\n\nWorks with the application architects, DevSecOps and Cyber Team, to review security questionnaires;\n\nCollaboration and Leadership:\nAdvocates for the Architecture, Development, DevOps, Cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and Agile engineering procedures, quality engineering practices and advanced requirement capturing techniques for improving end-to-end delivery practices;\n\nProvide guidance to DevOps & development teams to ensure smooth integration of cloud solutions;\n\nOrganizes and coordinates infrastructure architecture reviews as needed;\n\nMentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members;\n\nLiaise with vendors and cloud providers to ensure proper delivery of services;\n\nCloud Management & Optimization:\nMonitor cloud systems and ensure they meet performance benchmarks and security requirements;\n\nOptimize cloud resources and cost through automation and monitoring;\n\nImplement disaster recovery strategy, ensure high availability of cloud resources;\n\nDocumentation and Reporting:\nMaintain up-to-date technical documentation;\n\nReport on cloud service performance and costs trends.\n\nIF YOU ARE\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field;\n\n5+ years of experience in designing, developing & deploying cloud architecture;\n\nExpertise in Azure Cloud platform including PaaS offerings like AKS, Azure SQL, APIM, Azure Service Bus etc;\n\nExperience with cloud-native technologies such as containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture;\n\nStrong knowledge of networking, security, and database management in cloud environment;\n\nKnowledge of Source Code Management concepts (e.g., code lines, branching, merging, integration, versioning);\n\nExperience producing PoCs (Proof of Concept) to support the development and DevOps teams;\n\nAbility to translate traditional SDLC approach (plan, code, build, test, release, deploy and monitor) to the phases of agile development when writing software to automate cloud architecture related tasks.\n\nNICE TO HAVE\nMicrosoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect certification.\n\nExperience with DevOps practices & CI/CD pipelines.\n\nAS AN OPINOV8R, YOU WILL HAVE\nDigital-First Approach: Great talent knows no borders!
