The Cloud Solutions Engineer works across customers, OCI Product Engineering, systems integrators, Oracle delivery services, and account teams to turn technical priorities into coordinated execution.\nThe ideal candidate can understand the architecture and engineering problem, engage credibly with technical stakeholders, and then drive the people, dependencies, decisions, and deliverables required to achieve the customer outcome.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDrive Technical Execution\nLead complex technical initiatives from architecture and planning through production adoption.\n\nTranslate customer priorities into clear technical plans with milestones, deliverables, owners, dependencies, and success criteria.\n\nUnderstand architectures deeply enough to identify technical risks, challenge assumptions, and help teams determine the right path forward.\n\nCoordinate customer engineering teams, systems integrators, Oracle delivery services, and OCI engineering around a common execution plan.\n\nDrive technical evaluations, migrations, modernization efforts, and new workload adoption.\n\nOrchestrate Engineering Engagement\nCoordinate engineering engagement across multiple OCI services and organizations.\n\nWork directly with OCI Product Engineering to resolve blockers, manage dependencies, and deliver capabilities required by strategic workloads.\n\nMaintain clear ownership and accountability for engineering commitments.\n\nDrive cross-functional decisions and escalate issues when progress or customer outcomes are at risk.\n\nEnsure blockers remain actively managed through resolution rather than simply tracked.\n\nCreate Visibility & Accountability\nMaintain a clear view of workload milestones, engineering deliverables, risks, dependencies, and decisions.\n\nEstablish an effective operating cadence across complex customer engagements.\n\nCommunicate what changed, what matters, what is blocked, and what action or decision is required.\n\nProvide concise reporting to technical and executive stakeholders.\n\nIdentify patterns across customers that require broader Product Engineering or leadership action.\n\nSupport the Customer Lifecycle\nAdoption: Drive the technical execution required to move strategic workloads into production.\n\nGrowth: Coordinate engineering engagement around technical health, blockers, new capabilities, and expansion opportunities.\n\nPursuits: Lead and program-manage technical evaluations and engineering engagements required to win new workloads.\n\nWhat Success Looks Like\nStrategic workloads consistently advance through technical milestones and into production.\n\nEngineering commitments have clear owners and are delivered against agreed timelines.\n\nTechnical and product blockers are identified early and driven to resolution.\n\nCustomers, partners, delivery teams, and OCI engineering remain aligned on priorities and responsibilities.\n\nCustomer-facing teams have a clear view of technical progress, risk, and required decisions.\n\nProduct Engineering receives clear, prioritized requirements tied to customer and workload impact.\n\nTechnical engagements result in production adoption, improved customer outcomes, or new workload wins.\n\nPreferred Experience\nIdeal candidates will have experience with:\nCloud architecture, infrastructure, or large-scale distributed systems.\n\nOCI or another major public cloud platform.\n\nDriving complex technical programs spanning customers, engineering, partners, and delivery organizations.\n\nEnterprise migration, modernization, cloud-native, AI, or data workloads.\n\nWorking with Product Engineering on product gaps, roadmap dependencies, escalations, and new capabilities.\n\nManaging technical milestones, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional deliverables.\n\nCommunicating complex technical programs clearly to both engineering and executive audiences.\n\nThe strongest candidates combine technical depth with exceptional execution discipline.
