You will work with local and global teams to solve problems, improve daily operations and support new data center deployments.\nWhat will you do?\nLead teams responsible for 24/7 data center hardware operations.\nHire, coach and develop managers, technicians and engineers.\nPlan staffing and team workloads to support daily operations and future growth.\nOversee hardware installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.\nSupport new data center deployments and make sure your teams are ready to operate them.\nHelp teams resolve major operational issues and keep stakeholders informed.\nWork with global teams to follow common processes and deliver projects on time.\nImprove team performance, work quality and operational efficiency.\nManage vendors and make sure work meets company procedures, safety requirements and local regulations.\nWhat are we looking for?\nExperience leading large technical teams in data centers or similar IT environments where service availability is critical.\nStrong knowledge of data center IT hardware operations, including servers, networking and hardware support.\nExperience hiring, coaching and developing managers and technical staff.\nExperience managing 24/7 operations and handling major operational issues.\nAbility to plan resources, set priorities and manage several projects or operational needs at the same time.\nClear communication skills and the ability to work with local teams, global colleagues and senior leaders.\nExperience supporting large-scale cloud or hyperscale data centers.\nWillingness to travel occasionally.\nA bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience is preferred.\nWhat can you expect?\nThis is an opportunity to help grow OCI data center operations in Malaysia, Johor Bahru\nYou will have responsibility for both people and operations.
