The platform supports large-scale build execution and integrates with OCI's source control, CI/CD pipelines, artifact repositories, security systems, and developer tooling.\nThis is a hands-on engineering leadership role for someone who enjoys building strong teams, solving distributed-systems problems, and improving how developers build and ship software at cloud scale.\nWhat You'll Do\nLead and grow engineering teams responsible for OCI Build services and infrastructure.\nOwn the architecture, delivery, reliability, security, and operational health of critical build-platform components.\nSet technical direction and work closely with senior engineers on distributed systems, build execution, orchestration, scalability, and performance.\nImprove build speed, reliability, capacity, observability, and developer experience.\nDrive security and software supply-chain improvements across build execution, dependencies, secrets, and artifact publishing.\nPartner with OCI engineering teams to understand build and CI/CD needs, resolve systemic issues, and prioritize platform improvements.\nBuild a strong operational culture through automation, monitoring, incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.\nDevelop engineers and managers through clear expectations, coaching, feedback, and meaningful ownership.\nHire and retain a diverse team and create an environment where people with different backgrounds and perspectives can do their best work.\nWork across OCI organizations to define priorities and deliver multi-team initiatives.\nWhat We're Looking For\nExperience leading software engineering teams responsible for production systems.\nStrong technical foundation in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, CI/CD, or related areas.\nExperience designing and operating highly available, scalable services.\nAbility to work effectively with senior engineers on architecture and complex technical decisions.\nStrong engineering judgment around reliability, security, operational excellence, and long-term maintainability.\nDemonstrated ability to develop people, build healthy teams, and deliver through others.\nClear communication and ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries.\nExperience with build systems, Kubernetes, containerized workloads, artifact management, software supply-chain security, or large-scale developer infrastructure is valuable, but you do not need experience with every technology we use to be successful in this role.\nDisclaimer:Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.\nRange and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only\nUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,000 to $306,400 per annum.
