Specifically, you will enhance, improve, develop, and maintain back-end services used across our entire technology platform. \nWhat you get to do:\nContribute to the development of our product portfolio, built with Java, Docker, Amazon Web Services, and PostgreSQL.\nCollaborate with business and technical professionals across the organization in an Agile framework to ensure technical systems are well-designed.\nPerform code reviews, unit testing, assist in integration testing, documenting and implementing software best practices.\nContinue to learn new tools and languages. We take development seriously! Our team manages our own internal training, with budgets for classes, conferences, books and materials….we want you to grow your skills with us.\nWhat you will bring to the team:\nExperience interpreting and refining our technical issues into relevant implementable requirements, to be delivered as a large-scale project from concept to production.\nAt least 1 year of Java or similar experience.\n1+ years of experience developing systems with Amazon Web Services technologies; ECS/EKS experience a big plus.\n1+ years of experience with Test-driven Development (TDD).\n1+ years of experience building Restful APIs and consuming 3rd party APIs.\nExperience with Event Driven Development and Domain Driven Design are a plus if you have it.\nExperience with Terraform, CI, Kubernetes and Docker are a plus if you have it.\nGit experience preferred.\nReports to: Manager, Engineering\nTotal Rewards and Benefits: \nAt OppFi, we are committed to fostering a fair and equitable workplace.
